The Dog-Thing + Blood Sample Model Kit from Pickman’s Vinyls
PRESS: "Pickman’s Vinyls is back again with month three of The Thing Resin Minifigure Series: The Dog-Thing! This month will see a slight change in release structure, with all of the Minifigures dropping at one time, in both a standard and deluxe edition.
The standard edition will have a price point of US$15.00 plus shipping, and a run of 20 pieces. The deluxe will include a tentacle wrapped dog accessory, a price point of US$16.00 plus shipping, and will be limited to 10 pieces.
The Dog-Thing will go on sale Friday, March 8th at 8pm CST at www.pickmansvinyls.bigcartel.com."
PRESS (CONTINUED): "Following the Dog-Thing, preorders for The Thing Blood Sample Resin Model Kit will go live on March 22nd at 8pm, CST. Done in the style of classic resin garage kits, the Blood Sample is based off of the seldom seen prop of the Palmer Blood Sample Monster.
Comprised of 7 pieces in total, and measuring 4.5 inches tall and 6 inches wide when fully assembled, the kit will come primed and unpainted.
Pieces include: Main Body, left and right arm, upper and lower teeth, tongue, Petri dish, ‘Palmer’ sticker label, blank sticker label, and an instruction sheet featuring all new, original art from Mike Alvarez.
The kit will have a price point of $70 plus shipping, with preorders limited to 10 pieces. All kits will ship by March 31st. (Please note, the kit is DIY and comes unpainted. Painted photos are for reference only.)"
