Strangecat Toys' Exclusives for Five Points Festival 2019 (June 1-2)
Cory over at Strangecat Toys has been generously giving TOYSREVIL in the loop about their exclusives for the upcoming June 1st to 2nd Five Points Festival 2019 at Booth #42300, I'll share with you what has been announced so far, and you are recommended to stay connected to their Insta @strangecattoys for further updates and reveals!
MINI WOOPER LOOPER from Gary Ham X Pobber will see two colorways to debut at Five Points, with the WATERMELON Colorway exclusive to StrangeCat Toys (Limit 75pcs), while the CAKE BATTER colorway will also make its premiere. Price: TBC. This'll be the 2nd and 3rd colorway releases, after the first Autumn colorway, which was even a Finalist for "Toy of the Year" in the 2019 Designer Toy Awards!
BABY SHARK LORDS (Super Steel Edition) by Momoco Studio and Merry Go Round, is limited to 100pcs, each priced at US$32.00. Named "Mecha Shark Jr" in the East, a blister-packed/carded edition of this 3-inch tall cutie was released at Shanghai Toy Show.
COSMIC DRIP RANGERONS by Kendra’s Customs are limited to only 4 individual pieces, each priced at US$100.00.
KING MALLOW & QUEEN MOCHI by MUPA Toy & 1983 are limited to only 5 sets, each priced at US$145 per.
From @bakumbaa comes two editions available exclusively via StrangeCat Toys' booth: BAKUMBA YETI in Brown and Orange, and BAKUMBA SILVER RUST (Limited to 20pcs). Prices TBC for all.
"Jobi The Moon Fox - Stargazer Galio’s Guardian Spirit" by @oklunatoys will be available exclusively at Strangecat Toys' booth for @fivepointsfest. Price TBC.
Making it's debut at Five Points is the OG VINYL version of ASTRO CRASH! from Josh Divine x Strangecat Toys (*last year's edition was resin!). Strangecat had mentioned that they "will have a very small amount" of at Five Points Fest this year, with the "remainder are currently on a boat from China and will ship Mid June." Expect a online pre-release at Strangecattoys.com on Sat June 1st at 5pm. Meanwhile, this 10" tall vinyl figure will be priced at US$100 per. Artist @joshdivineltd will be available in person on Saturday (from 1pm-1:30pm) for a signing at the StrangeCat Toys' booth.
(Previously featured) This featured "FAWN" Edition DAYDREAM NIMBUS from Kurobokan is exclusive to Strangecat, and will be made available at US$45 each vinyl cutie (sized 3.5” long & 2.5” tall). Limited to 150pcs, any unsold pieces from Five Points will go Live 7pm EST at strangecattoys.com.
This QUAY RAINBOW Resin colorway by Kik Toyz x Hell Toys will be exclusive to Strangecat, who will be taking preorders at Five Points and have the prototype on display. "There will only be 50 spots, if any are still open we will make them available online on Jun 2nd at 7pm."
Last but not least (at least for this blogpost), is toynews of their "Fractured Bloom" group customs show, based on the 12” Skull Flower by @taramcpherson x @toyqube!
