Series 2 of "GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS" Q Edition Figures Have Been Revealed!
Since my previous blogpost showcasing the utterly adorable "Q Edition" GODZILLA figurines (based off the feature film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters"), a slew of similar sales pages have opened up online here (*Unknown which listings cater to outside of Taiwan tho :p), along with news of availability in Thailand (GASP) - comes THE REVEAL AND LISTING OF SERIES 2!!!
Totally six (6) figurines in this series; 4 x Godzilla in different poses, and 2 x King Ghidorah in two different poses! Sized approx. 8CM tall, made of "soft rubber" x PVC, the figures are available blind boxed (Listed price is 380 TWD = approx. US$12/SG$17), and some listing even have a "complete set" at 1,900 TWD (approx. US$60/SG$83)! And while I cannot vouch for any of the listings, nor can I confirm they shipping/cater to sales outside of Taiwan, you can either (A) try your luck, or (B) Go bug your fav retailers, as I reckon they'd have a better chance at availability info :p
Godzilla's feet stuck on a tree-top while stomping on it ...
Godzilla chewing on a train and its carriages ...
Godzilla catching a jet-plane with its tail ...
Godzilla with Atomic Breath ...
And each of golden Ghidorah's heads talking to themselves ... How can these be not CUTE????
And from this listing Tmall.com (formerly Taobao Mall = a Chinese-language website for business-to-consumer online retail, spun off from Taobao, operated in China by Alibaba Group), comes a spiffy set of images proclaiming the legitimacy of the licensed product from Legendary & Toho, AND more images of the Q figurines "in action"! Thanks for the headsup, Evernal Sue!!!
As a price reference, the listed price per blind box pull on the TMall-listing is ¥59.00 (approx. US$9 / SG$12), so at least you have a gauge of the mark-up you will be willing to bear. Note all these does not include "shipping costs". I've not bought anything online from either Taiwan nor China, so cannot comment on the average shipping costs... I dread to think how much these will cost when it comes to Singapore shelves tho ... BY GAWDS I NEED THEM AAAAALLLLLLL LAH!
