Guest Line-Up of Comicbook Artists & Writers & Illustrators Revealed for Singapore Comic Con 2019 (Dec 7-8)

Since my first/last feature on Guests coming for Singapore Comic Con 2019 (7-8 December), tons more have been announced, most of whom have been comic arts / illustration-focused folks, including a comicbook-writer! Let's have a closer look, shall we?

INTRODUCTION: Fishball (Tay Yen Ee) is a freelance artist based in Malaysia. She likes to draw as her way of recording things, and is surprised that people are actually entertained by it. Published a book about her life with her huge geeky boyfriend, she then got her series picked up by Webtoon to be one of their featured works. Also likes her banana leaf rice drowned in a pool of dahl.

And while I have her signed comicbook from when she boothed at the 2017 Illustration Arts Fest (Thanks, Jerry!), I've never actually met the artist face-to-face! Hopefully I will be able to thank her in person at SGCC!

INTRODUCTION: Sarah Andersen is a 27 year old old cartoonist and illustrator. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014 and currently lives in Montreal. Her comics are semi-autobiographical and follow the adventures of herself, her friends, and her beloved pets.

And if you - like myself - have seen her comic-panels constantly in your Facebook-feeds, meeting her in Singapore would be hella fun! Oooohhhhhh, I wonder what march she will be offering????
