#toynews: FREE TWEETY from Tik Ka from East x Soap Studio for Jan 3rd Online Release
Hong Kong's Soap Studio has teamed up yet again with artist Tik Ka from East and Warner Bros to launch the sequel in the Looney Tunes series (The first two were Sylvester and Tweety in 2018 / image at bottom of this post), featuring the new Chinese and Western styles of Tik Ka from East. And while we saw a teaser in 2019, featured here today is the full reveal of "FREE TWEETY"!
"Full of Chinese-styled details, peaceful sitting posture, smashed feathers, elegant and unconstrained. When a bird is free from the cage and able to live, it can finally enjoy a truly free, liberated life."
Sized (approx.) 24.5cm tall, this resin and metal-make will be made available to pre-order online here on January 3rd at 17:30pm (Hong Kong time).
Retail Price is HKD980 (Not including shipping fee), which works out to approx. US$126 / SG$170. Each figure will come with a unique number at the bottom and also accompanied by a Tik Ka from East autographed certificate.
The collectible is in a limited edition 300 pieces worldwide and available on a first come first serve basis while stock lasts. "The first 100 pcs is expected to be shipped on or after 20th January, while the other will be End of February 2020."
