"SHIN KAMEN RIDER" Announced!
And now it's a "trilogy"! Announced is "SHIN KAMEN RIDER" = a new live-action feature film reimagining to be helmed by director Hideaki Anno of Studio Khara ("EVANGELION"), adding to his Shin Godzilla, and upcoming Shin Ultraman!
Announced as part of the 50th-anniversary celebration of Kamen Rider, release is currently scheduled for "March 2023", made in collaboration with Toei Productions. Seen up top is a singular image revealed, while seen below is a promo video with the classic theme tune (featuring text only), PLUS an announcement video from Studio Khara WITH footage of the beloved tokusatsu series from the early 70s!
I've always been more of a "Kamen Rider"-fan than "Ultraman" (Whom I still adore, mind you!), and I am jazzed to see the character hopefully achieving a new age of recognition, and am keen to see if this goes a bit more "mature" than what we've witnessed before thru the years...! Meanwhile, here are a few select Kamen Rider-toys I own, which includes Customs and Action Figures...!
