#THROWBACK: Boothing at STGCC2009

That year I boothed at the annual "Singapore ComicCon" in 2009 (back then known as "Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention") and I've chronicled it via TOYSREVIL (Booth C16) ... excavated a printout of the booth's layout which I had done to remind myself of the "plan" and what needed to be done, even if I had been out of commission for whatever reason(s), cheers :)

I was sandwiched between Camilla D'Errico and COARSE actually (what wonderful company OMG), with a single "entrance", which I had intended to have my showcase display front-and-center (and limited side entrances), so I could invite folks to come inside for a seat and chat, instead of needing folks to wander thru the booth. This layout plan was more likely used to indicate the placement of my printed (foam-base)banners (which was expensive, and even now I still hold unto them OMG) ... but coarse did not turn up (for whatever reason I never asked), and suddenly I had 2 "entrances" to my booth, which totally changed the layout and placement of said-banners, plus the dynamics of interacting with folks, which I experienced and loved!

From then on, I've requested to be placed at corner / end of the aisle (likewise my 2012 Booth), whenever I have an opportunity and/or could afford to booth LOL

I was geared towards the release of my first (and only ever) production collectible figure with the TOYSREVIL-YOKA with adFunture, as well "Thunderape Mini-G-Robot" with ANTZ (who I invited for a live custom demo). The booth was helmed by myself and my family (my late dad, mum, brother and sister - bless them all), and was a splendid shared experience!

I do think back sometimes with fond memories (ignoring the red I had put myself in financially :p), and long to booth again, which I did in 2012 (also in the red OMG) ... but ...

This happened about a year before my Stroke about a year later in 2010, so folks saw a side of me "before" ... and folks would've seen me "after" my Stroke too, when I wheelchair back in 2010 (in the middle of my rehabilitation no less lol) and subsequently when I boothed in 2012 ... I constantly talk about this because I am personally intrigued with folks' POV :)
