this is Jon Knox Griffin's (aka Hello, Brute) first solo exhibition (2nd-24th Feb) and on display will be near-30 pieces of work, ranging from both handmade toys and plushes, prints, skatedecks and more. [flyer] check out the Rotofugi forumthread for more updates :)
what to expect:
- Friday, February 2, 7-11pm = party time!
- Meet Jon and make him draw something for you!
- Free beer and sodas by the fine folks at Goose Island
- DJs Ghengiswon and J.Lee rock it like there's no tomorrow!

at Rotofugi and they'll send the availability list a day or two after the opening.
"sookie la la" is Australian slang for a whiner or "cry-baby". Sookie La La is also the name of one of Jon's mascots. He is the whiniest of the bunch, though many (if not most) Brute characters are upset about something. This exhibition is a day in the life of Sookie and his pals. ~ (cheers for the headsup, Jon and good luck for your show!) :)
