dc deluxe's 1/6 silver age batman, batgirl and nightwing
the current NY Toy Fair brings a coupla "exciting" additions/news for Batman-fans, with the preview 13" DC Deluxe versions of Silver Age Batman and Batgirl!

Batman dons his signature pre-Dark-Knight-era Blue-undies while a "buffed" Batgirl shimmers in her pre-Joker-crippling days Grey+Blues (interesting body-sculpt tho - a perfect Amazonian-body it would make, IMHO):
the BLACK-uniformed Batgirl-image on display-box in the background will be a retailer-incentive, with one available for every four grey-costume figures (*gasp*) = check out hi-res images @ Wizard Universe's NYTF-coverage here :)
no DoD mentioned as of this post tho :p
both the Silver Age Batman and Batgirl will be a sweet companion-set to (the featured) Batman and Catwoman, sorta, innit? *heh*
and while on a similar Bat-family vein, "Dick Grayson" - former-Robin-turned adult-superhero Nightwing too gets the 13"-figure treatment:
the simply-accessorized dude comes with a change of masks (ie: one blue and one black version), a pair of spare gloved-hands and escrima sticks ... would've been cool if it were a scaled-Robin tho, IMHO ...

altho there've been comments on their "scale" (bigger than 1/6) compared to other figures, including my own grouses ... but in the end, they've been the ONLY consistent producers of "16th"-superhero figures by far (with darn decent-to-good quality too!) ... and until someone else steps up to the plate, we'll just be happy with these spandex-clad heroes, innit? *cool eitherway*
