as part of their Star Wars 30th Anniversary celebrations, SideShowToys has announced the release of the Princess Leia Organa 12"-er figure, from 'A New Hope' [via]

a decent looking-sculpt of Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia from the looks of the prototype (looking a tad "younger" than their Bosuhh-Leia), with her signature "cinnamon bun" twirls and classic '77 white gown, hopefully she'll be toting a Trooper's blaster too!
slated for a Priority pre-order on March 23rd, at least this release might be able to provide SW-collectors a new hope (*snicker*) for a possible Leia in Hoth-battlegear (Empire Strikes Back) and of coz theeventual much sort after Leia Slave-girl (Return of the Jedi)
