zakkamono's miao and mousubi by tokidoki


since my Feb-feature on Zakkamono's MIAO and MOUSUBI vinyl-pair with skin-design by Tokidoki's Simone Legno [tagged] - they are now available for pre-orders - for an estimated June 2008-ship. limited to 500-pcs, both 7-incher Miao (the designer Fortune Cat) and 3-incher Mousubi (looking yummy like musubi) is available for US$80 - while a DIY-version of the pair (shown top-of-post) is available for US$40-per set, also slated for a June-ship.

also look out for a "Miao and Mousubi EXTREME makeover" - featuring customs by 50 artists on the duo - on display at a gallery event @ Subtext in San Diego, circa 14th of November through December 7th of 2008, where you can bid on your fav customs.
