Seriously, how awesome can an awesome toy get? Here's an exclusive first look at a "troubleboy" with Brandt Peters X Ferg Squadt: [Scram / no.45 - got away clean variant] - limited to 100 cps, and includes 3 piece suit, dual chrome .45 pistols, removable winged fedora and helmet. - Price is to be confirmed, and frankly worth every penny that will be asked for, IMHO. Look for it at Ferg's MEDIUM WAR show @ Rotofugi on Jan 15th [blogged].


The above-posted is the previously released Hot-Pink LADY MAXX colorway edition from MaxToyCo - meant for Max Toy Club members (and subsequently Rotofugi and Chibigojitoys.com). Now that was posted in context to the below uber-clear soft vinyl version of Lady Maxx - which of course, looks amazing, doesn't it? No news on it's availability though, although somehow I figure it will all come to head in the Max Toy 5th Anniversary Show in Tokyo (4/2-4/3), and then San Francisco (4/23- 2011), and finally in the In Living Kolor SF Tour.


Sometimes being a clueless toy-tourist leaves me gagging for toys I will never hold in my hands,much less own …. *gack*


Plastic Culture releases a sneak-peek lineup of the upcoming new FAMILY GUY mini figure series from Kidrobot, based on the animated television series. With the success of their two THE SIMPSONS mini series, it would have been a no-brainer to see this series. I read some folks scream "McDobnald's toys", while others hanker to collect the series - ah but the wonderment if the toy realms, yeh? An excellent example of a license-series (any designer of the forms being mentioned here?) in this day and age, the set is scheduled for an April-2011-ish release.


Truthfully, Kidrobot's Aztec Dunny series (bask in 2006/07) did not delight nor engage me (there have even been whispered the figures are in the front-running of being paint-stripped and customized ssshhh), but the teasers for AZTEC DUNNY SERIES 2 currently unleashed on the web is, well, quite delectable, innit? Especially the Beast Bros design below, IMHO. Remains to be seen if this series gets off the ground, given the exceptional 2Tone series released not too long before.



The Tiki Cat is a cute cat that found a magical Tiki mask that gives him special powers.

We first blogged about Bard Vandal's TIKI CAT back in September 2010. Seems the soft vinyl project is still on-track with these new factory sculpts (and yes, that is a removable tiki-mask). I wonder how big the sculpt is tho…


New "Real Fighting" GREASEBAT Colorway coming February 2011 from Jeff Lam and producers Monster Worship. No doubt none of these colorways seen at NYCC 2010, yeh? But then again… aaahh I'm just excited still as I have my first factory production paint edition! Heh.


Formerly exclusive to Enterbay, Korean sculptor Arnie Kim moves his talented hands and skills to Hot Toys, and following the announcement of Christopher Reeves as 1/6th-Superman from Hot Toys - images of BRUCE LEE headsculpt-WIPs has just been unveiled, and boy do they look yummy! Not very often we get to see a jovial (or even "happy") side of a Bruce-sculpt, do we?


Hot Toys mentions: "Good news for Bruce Lee fans! We’ll be launching the 2nd and 3rd Bruce Lee Collectible Figure soon! Artist Ashley Wood of ThreeA Toys lets loose a New Year-message on the 3A-production blog, and along with it comes a flood (okay, I exaggerate) of teaser images of possible products for 2011. Shown here are select new (probably) never-been-posted before designs, while the original-post contains snaps of toys previously offered for pre-orders.
