more sideshowtoys' 1/6 princess leia

featured just a few days ago, SideShowToys has just released images of their upcoming 1/6th Princess Leia - for their priority-pre-order on March 23rd here :)

on the figure, after the jump*


sporting her white-gown/tunic from "A New Hope", Leia packs both a laser-pistol and a Stormtrooper-blaster (and a "thumb-drive" for the Death Star Plans??? :p), with surprisingly a not too "big" headsculpt (as compared to previous releases, - which was a perpetual SST-"trademark"), IMHO ... which unfortunately leaves a slightly-smaller forehead, judging from these images, yeh? and personally i feel that the paint-app on this prototype-figure is borderline tranvestite a bit "heavy" (great eyes tho!) ... altho it remains to be seen, on both fronts; the final version (which unfortunately i would not be able to afford *sigh*)

what would've been "nice"? "skin colored-stockings" (ala DML's Anna's "hose") to hide the knee-joints - seeing that that's the only "exposed skin" of the figure, yeh? IMHO anyways :) ... and please don't get me started on fraying threads LOL ... and seriously? i'm lurving the "sultry" image of Leia holding unto the handcuffs manacles, which comes with the SideShow Exclusive Edition ...

wot a cheeky princess, innit? *muahahahaha*
