i have been pwned. why? well according to Sci-Fi Wire's interview [via] with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that "the star-shaped object in Tony Stark's workshop in Iron Man is indeed part of Cap's famous shield. ... and there I went about it NOT being Captain Amercia's Shield - after watching it for the second time - to confirm initial online sightings ! *le-pwnd*

altho one single silver lining amongst thy cyber-clouds shone thru with Feige confirming " that the upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America (movie) will be a World War II period piece, like the comic book on which it is based, and he shot down a rumor that Matthew McConaughey was in line to play the hero." ... and I really like the Ultimates-version of WW2-Cap tho (below image-left) ... also, can anyone say "Sgt Fury and The Howling Commandos"? heh.
