csbooth15: gardener still (5-6 july)
Attempting to decipher what Michael Lau had on display at his CSBOOTH15 show exhibited 5th-6th July just [tagged] was actually more daunting than gathering images! LOL (all pics via Tomm's blog) - but lemme give it a shot, yeh? Do feel free to fill me in on the gaps of info - appreciate it :)

Three main distinct categories can be seen - consisting of KUBRICK-movie inspired figures, 049 & 023 Jordans-pair, and the "mutate" M.F.J.K.-set with a (muscle) Sports Watch.
LAU DOES KUBRICK:

Stanley KUBRICK movie-inspired figures ranged from the military-themed FAT WEST JACKET (aka Full Metal Jacket), to the deviant BLACKWHITEORANGE (aka Clockwork Orange) to the sci-fi opus 2BB1 (aka 2001: A Space Odyssey) - in 5 color variants, no less!

(am still trying to figure out the butt-string tho :p) - initial teasers shown below

EVENT PICS:

oh no! "Alex" has bad hat-hair! LOL :p

SWEATING IT OUT WITH JORDAN 049 & 023

It's down to the 049 JORDAN wit da 'fro and (BULLS) 23 JORDAN baldy
-decked out in reverse black+reds (teasers shown below):

EVENT PICS:

M.F.J.K. / SUBMILGAYTONA:

As the regular forumboard-palance goes: "I'm not feeling this design" ... or perhaps I'd not the opportunity to understand the inception and development process, and truthfully, the closest I'd understand is the quasi-Dissected-inspired face-scrape, or perhaps even the gloved-leftie. (teaser shown below):

The long flowy-hair may suggest this is Lau himself, but I'm just blind-speculating ...
at least the figure comes with a sports watch, yeh?

...and still Im constantly confounded by the terms being used:
"Not For Sale Only For You (Sample)" - must mean something, right?

...and I've only just realized that that's a goatee on his chin, and NOT a fugly-nose! LOL

EVENT PICS:

In addition to the toys, there are a trio of large canvas art, featuring a Clockwork Orange-inspired piece, a M.F.J.K. potrait, and a Jordan-wth-horns aka (Chicago) BULLS.

Now all I need is an issue of MiLK magazine #363 - then I'd be contented-ish LOL

That Jordon is amazing!
