DanBoard & NyanBoard at Tokyu Hands - My Toyhunt Adventures in Singapore
Spotted the above featured editions of DanBoard and NyanBoard very randomly at Tokyu Hands in Suntec City, Tuesday evening (after a pre-birthday family dinner), and was severely tempted to bring one home! I'd remember snagging a few blind boxes (including Pug Cube) the last time I was there, but ...
And while I am somewhat familar with "DanBoard", I'd not known the "standard market value/pricing" for these as well (as much as bagged-n-tagged packaging pleases me), I was not so ready to bite there BUYBUYBUY-bullet tooo... but believe you me, I was nearly there, maaaan...!
And alas with Illustration Arts Fest 2018 coming this weekend, I'd decided it was prudent to hold back the horses, and instead choose the much cheaper alternative behind this basket of bagged-n-tagged figures: Kaiyodo's CAPSULE NYANBOARD for SG$9.90 per pull! And this is what I got:
My First "NyanBoard"! Funny tho, as this NyanBoard design would be the same one as the larger piece I would've brought home, so I'll take that as a WIN! Check out the other different figures to be pulled:
Truth be told, my hands itched to grab more as my toy-loving heart wavering a tad, but realising too soon ten bucks is not how I want to be trying/testing my luck, with me and "blind boxes" have a tumultuous relationship (let's just say), and I did not want to be pushing my luck ... but then again, having said just that, I might have a few more boxes to go thru ... purely for the sake of content for this blog, of course! *innocent-smile*
