REMARKS: Designed by @mikefudgeart and produced by @uvdtoys, this color way of KUB is the "OG" Edition with this 7-inch tall vinyl figure scheduled for a Fall 2019 ship out.
UVDToys mentioned; "We have been working on this project for a very long time. We first revealed the figure at Designer Con 2017 and after some set backs with the project, we finally moved into production earlier this year. The figure came out amazing so the set backs were worth the wait!"
Both this current colorway and another "brown" colorway (seen above) of the figure was on display at the recent Five Points Festival 2019 in early-June.
Sculpted by Oasim Karmieh, who added; "Since I have started my journey in becoming a toy sculptor there have been a couple of toys that stood out for me from the rest the KUB piece that I sculpted based on the gorgeous work of @mikefudgeart this fella has a special place in my heart, I'm proud of this toy" (@pixelbudah).
And if KUB looks familiar, it may be because of "BIG PAW" (Handmade of solid resin and painted by @wearenottoys) seen before on TOYSREVIL, released circa DesignerCon 2016! I wonder if that's a grown up version of Kubo, or another different member in the clan...?
