TOYSREVIL Reviews a GODZILLA-Q Toy!
After blogging about it and toy-lusting at it incessantly, I finally have in my hands, a "Godzilla Q" figure! A gift from friends and currently a cherished item in the TOYSREVIL-HQ, I finally get to show-n-tell it on now in video and snaps!
A quick TOY-TLDR: The figures named "Godzilla Q" are stylised depictions of Godzilla in a "Cute/Chibi/Super-Deformed" aesthetic, with two series released thus far.
Each series features a line-up of 6 figures, with each Godzilla figure in different poses. The second series of "Godzilla Q" features 2 x Ghidorahs, in addition to the 4 x Godzillas. The figure I show here is from S2. Click HERE to view Series One Godzillas!
I have been told of the "possibility" of a third series, but have the far not found any information online. I will still try to though :p
Each figure is sized 8cm / 3-inches (see size comparison snaps at bottom pf this post :p), and are made in "PVC+Silicone". Available via "blind box" (AKA "random choice").
All of them were released in Asia/China under license from Toho and Legendary Pictures (If we are to trust the ad image credits), and more likely licensed retailed in Asia, as thus far we do not see them in retailers (that I know of) in the West, although they are openly available via online resellers (purchase links below in this post).
I have read descriptions that allude them being released in conjunction/tandem with the film "Godzilla" King of the Monsters", which could mean they were available in partnership with theatres/cinemas? "Speculation" on my end (*until someone can confirm this with me, thanks!), but online searches could also include the term/words "Godzilla King of the Monsters" :p
Since featuring both series on TOYSREVIL (May + June 2019), availability remains still via online resellers:

Average pricing range between 300 TWD (Initial SRP, I think approx. US$9.5 / SG$13) to 380 TWD (380 TWD = US$12 / SG$16.5 / all conversion via xe.com), listings on Ebay range on average US$15-ish.
