GUNDAM GHOST by Poot Padee for Pre-order Now!
Introducing the GUNDAM GHOST Collectible from Thailand-based prop maker Poot Padee (I've featured his before). He shares with us images+info about his latest completed build (which started as an "old project since 2017"), appropriating GUNDAM-iconology with a decayed skull wearing the helmet - which kinda reminded me of Quiccs' homage "Worldslayer"-imagery ... but then again, all of them were "appropriated", innit?
Made in resin and fibreglass, the collectible stands 10-inches tall (x 9" x 12"), and seems to include built-in lights (for "eyes" / details to confirm with artist). TWO Editions are currently opened for pre-orders. The above featured pre-painted edition is priced at US$259 each, in a run of only 9pcs (!) ... while there is also a RAW cast kit (Open Edition), each priced at US$149. Shipping cost not included in either pricing mentioned.

Poot has taken 10s of thousands of dollars worth of orders from people and not delivered,then sold the items people paid for on Etsy.
ReplyDeleteIf you check his FB it's full of people trying to get refunds. He was previously putting people off, saying items would be shipped, but has stopped responding to any messages regarding orders for over a year.
I personally have been waiting 3 years for my order, if you know him personally or anything, please as he refund his customers on on our behalf, to do the right thing, a lot of people are out a lot of money thanks to this guy.
