ORIGINAL BLOGPOST: The Philippines based artisan Cristopher Diño AKA @evilroystudio's JABRAHEAD "HELLBOY" Version certainly captured folks attention and eye-balls, with his "JABRA HEAD" pseudo-"platform" character taking on different guises, including "The Dark Knight"!

ORIGINAL BLOGPOST: One pf the more interesting visual and conceptual-"appropriation" releases this year (for me), has to be SHIN-COOKIEZILLA from Texas-based sculptor Gabriel Marquez in collaboration with/via Bottleneck Gallery! And even more "intriguing" is this current incarnation from "Dream Kaiju Studios" which is ALSO releasing the (possibly) exact figure, but with interchangeable "eyes"?
I am still awaiting a reply from the sculptor before I publish the post, but ... I am also interested to know WHAT is YOUR stand for "Bootlegs of Appropriated Iconology?"

ORIGINAL BLOGPOST: And the MOST LIKED INSTAGRAM UPLOAD on the TOYSREVIL Insta was something I did not post bout on the blog! This "fanart" by Hammar Dobucof (Insta @dobucof0110 / Twitter @hammar_dobucof) of characters from DragonBallZ seemingly "panic buying" in a supermarket was exceedingly timely, given the pandemic situation gripping the globe ... Which gave me a pause, as most of my IG-uploads were directly tied to my blog+blogposts, and perhaps I should (finally) consider my Instagram as a "separate entity", moving forward? Hhhmmm....
The "Ghana's Dancing Pallbearers" meme certainly helped 1:64 scaled AFRICAN COFFIN DANCE from @jmg_164_miniatures gain popularity on my Insta and the LIKES!
