HyunJin for LOONA vs DESIGNER TOYS
In this LOONA vs DESIGNER TOYS serial feature, I attempt to pair a member of South Korean girl group LOONA (이달의 소녀) with a "Designer Toy" (Explained in detail HERE) - specifically ANIMAL-themed, to coincide with said-member's "animal"-icon. This post-feature is dedicated to "HYUNJIN" and her "CAT" icon!

HyunJin is one of the members that do not actively promote herself (beyond her appearance on"King of Masked Singers"), beyond her LOONA TV appearances, VLIVES and VLOGS, with what we know of her publicly are memes about her, and LOONA members' impressions of her shared in public, IHMO.
And while I had hoped to post something "current", at least of her "performing" in recent times, but alas I only have her Dance Shorts for LOONA's "HULA HOOP" Japanese debut, followed by her performing "live" to her single "Around You" on piano (from "Dec 2016"). And I couldn;t resist posting a fan-made video compilation of HyunJin being the "strongest member of LOONA", AND she's hecka "athletic" too...! But I haveta say, the girls of LOONA are competitiveAF, so... :)

Look, fans of LOONA / Orbits KNOW that HyunJin is AEONG manifested unto a human, and that she "LOVES BREAD" ... so THIS particular designer toy was an immediate fit, once I decided to do this #LOONAvsDESIGNERTOYS project: Introducing #BREADCAT by South Korean toy creator Rato Kim...!
I first know of her BREADCAT via her self-produced RESIN incarnations (*Which one day I really hope to own), and subsequently produced in VINYL by Unbox Industries (for which I had the honor of owning a signed OG version of,when the creator was in Singapore), and subsequently the South Korean creator self-produced different incarnations in resin, like MINI BREADCAT.
I am exceedingly tempted to declare "there are plenty of CAT-themed toys!" (More examples/choices featured below), but struggled to find a aesthetic that fit HyunJin, or at least the persona she presents ... Wouldn't it be great of the girls of LOONA themselves choose...?
BONUS: Photobook Pageflip Videos for "Around You", followed immediately by a music video for "I'll Be There" (Nov 2016 / The B-Side to "Around You"), AND yet another duet with "My Sunday" (Jan 2017). Both HyunJin and HeeJin have been adorably referred to as "2Jin".
