August 22.2022 Edition of TOP TEN BLOGPOSTS on TOYSREVIL THE PAST WEEK



This has not exactly been a "productive weekend" for me, besides updating this blog's banner (spending way too much time mulling over "hypeworthy" or "geekworthy", and ultimately choosing my roots), and dedicating some time to my other blogs (TUNESTALKSG music hobby blog and POPCORNX movie/tv blog), I'd been catching up on my KDRAMAs and films ("Top Gun Maverick" the second time around still managed to keep my middle-aged eyes moist, thanks). And of course trying my best to keep up with the kids on socials...

TOY TRIVIA (Speculation on my end): There was initially a umbrella banner for "Universal Designer Gallery" = a line-up featuring a collaboration between invited (toy) artists and licensed IPs from Universal Pictures (first release was FELIX THE CAT X RUINSWORK), but the name itself is currently not mentioned specifically, no doubt due to current geo-political tensions (China is the primary market for the releases), so it remains to be seen if there'll be any changes moving forward, or a return to branding, after time has passed.
