Black Myth: Wukong (黑神話:悟空) Trailer & Gameplay ... PLUS Art Toy WuKongs on TOYSREVIL!
UPDATED: A brand new Gameplay Trailer for "Black Myth: Wukong" (Unreal Engine 5 at 4K/60FPS) has since been uploaded (Aug 20, 2021) lasting a scrumptious 12:44minutes ~ ENJOY!
Launched online not too long ago and currently burning thru my Facebook-feeds, is "BLACK MYTH: WU KONG" (黑神話:悟空) from Game Science Studio (heishenhua.com) - a new action adventure RPG based on the Journey to the West mythology ... with the above trailer showcasing (nearly) 4-minutes of edited footage, while featured below is the "official" 13 Minutes Gameplay Trailer!
Also featured below are a few character concept drawings, culled from Fansite @WukongNews Twitter, with much more to be had...!
Fired up by the WUKONG-awesomeness, I'd also thought to share a few SUN WUKONG-themed collectible toy releases that have graced the digital pages of TOYSREVIL!

WUKONG by South Korean design studio stickymonsterlab, released with XingHui Creations featuring TWO colorways of the collectible figure: Red and Black! The Black Edition came with his own deck too!
Released in 2015 by Singapore-based urban artist by ANTZ and produced in Bandung, Indonesia by MyTummyToys, SUN WU KONG was a three-dimensional manifestation of this print I had made available for my TOYSREVIL Booth in STGCC 2012! The figure made it's way on my #TopTenToys2015-list too!
Also seen alongside WuKong in image+video above, is the WUKONG TEQ63 from ANTZ X Quiccs for Hidden Fortress, made available at STGCC2014 in both the Regular Edition (Black suit), AND the TOYSREVIL-Edition Red (with white hair / See video below)!
I thought this was a tad tricky but nevertheless still a viable connection, with "YUAN KONG" in 1/6th scale by Winson Ma x Gate Toys (Features on TOYSREVIL), with this 2017-release being a sci-fi-take on a traditional Chinese lore “Journey To The West”, with the Monkey God / “Sun Wu Kong” here reimagined as an armoured warrior with blaster in one hand, and wielding his sword of flame in another! And not forgetting his Battle Staff!
Taiwan's JT.Studio has been unleashing all manners of WuKong-themed/inspired characters - from 1/6th-scale to 8-inch tall vinyl (and flocked too), and most recently GHOST MASK Editions ... but the closest I've ever gotten to his product, and actually held in my own hands (Thanks, ANTZ!), was the first MONKEY KING 1/6 release from 2014...!
MONKEY KING by Nathan Jurevicius, as sculpted by Dave Pressler and released by Munky King in 2008, available in THREE versions: EARTH, FIRE and METAL Editions.
Jurevicius originally created this rendition of The Monkey King for an animation project with MTV Asia (See video below!). "The Monkey King stands 8 inches tall on a removeable cloud. Bendy arms and tail holds his staff, ready to administer a beat down on the Kingdom of Heaven" (munkyking.com).
