Marvel Studios Trailers for San Diego Cmic Con 2022

For some time now - since the end of the Infinity Saga - there had been a oft-lament about not knowing "what direction Marvel will be taking", with their projects, leading to a unknown "destination", or as everyone had expected and hoped for a Cinematic-wide "event"... and that had been addressed, at San Diego Comic Con last week.

Marvel Studios returned to a in-person SDCC this year (since the pandemic in 2020), with bringing to the fabled "Hall H" a line-up of projects targeted from 2023 to 2025 AKA "Phase 5" and "Phase 6" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Title Announcements & Logos HERE on POPCORNX), along with footage screened that we'll be seeing somewhen down the line (*Not counting the leaks online now :p).

Mind you, these were only the ones announced during SDCC, with MORE to be announced come Disney's "D23 Expo" event (d23.com), happening September 9 to 11th...! But we'll get to that eveNTUALLY :)

Along with the announcements were actual upcoming shows with trailers and sneaks shown, also available to watch online, which I am presenting here compiled into a single blogpost, cheers.

The Official Teaser for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sees the characters mourning the passing of "T'Challa" played by the late Chadwick Boseman (who himself passed in 2020, succumb to colon cancer), to which Marvel has decided not to recast the character.

There is much talk at WHO will take over the mantle of "Black Panther", and to that end perhaps the identity is revealed with upcoming LEGO-sets :p

The teaser also heralded the reveal and coming of NAMOR The Sub-Mariner (the equivalent of "AQUAMAN" IN THE DC UNIVERSE), which had been revealed with the cast appearing in Hall H, and as well the action figures revealed during SDCC. Head to POPCORNX to view the music performance at "Hall H".

The "Official Trailer" (above) was dropped for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law", in anticipation of the series streaming August 17th on Disney+. Apparently the CGI now is not worthy of complaining now, compared to the earlier teaser (from where my social timeline is at "p), with a dedicated "comedy" angle, and even the character breaking the 4th wall - ala her comic books (which I am unfamiliar with, sorry), which mad emerald wonder of Marvel'll ever put Wade Wilson AKA "Deadpool" and Jennifer Walters AKA "She-Hulk" in a same scene, and would they end up arguing with the viewer...?

A featurette featuring the cast and crew (see blow) was also released online shortly after SDCC. Which frankly made me actually want too watch the show now lol

Last but not least, was the release of the trailer for the younglings, and young-at-heart, with "I Am Groot streaming on Disney+ on August 10th. Consisting of five Original shorts, I wonder if "Baby Groot" would ever surpass Baby Yoda "Grogu"? In populatory? Or being appropriated by Indie Toy-makers?
