Max Toy Co Releases: Ultraman, Kaiju, Marzinger Z & The Debut of SOFUBI-WOMAN!
Max Toy Co has released on maxtoyco.com "SOFUBI-WOMAN", the companion figure to his "SOFUBI-MAN"!
The first version to be released in the glow-in-the-dark edition, with this 5.5 inches tall soft vinyl figure priced at US$40 per. Sofubi-Woman is digitally sculpted by Andrea Calleja, with Max Toy coordination and proto printing from artist Javier Jimenenz ! This version is cast in China with help by UhOh Toys.
"She's holding a Eyezon and a airbrush... ready to paint the figure! Sofubi-woman, is my homage to the men and women who cast soft vinyl in Japan. As many of you may (or not) know, I've had a life long love affair with soft vinyl kaiju since 1973. But, it wasn't till much later that I found out more about the actual process of making and casting these types of toys."
