Full Trailer for #Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
A full trailer has dropped for "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom", with this sequel to 2018's "Aquaman" scheduled to premiere "December 20".
SYNOPSIS: "Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction."

Director James Wan returns with Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman. Will this be a "hit" like it's predecessor (apparently) was? Will it herald the "new DC Universe"? Or become a "remnant of the over-bloated CGI-past"?

As "super-powered superhero"-proects go, I am currently watching and adoring MOVING" (Kdrama currently showing on Disney+), and am consistently wrapped up in emotions and awe in how the fictional "reality" is depicted, paralle to our physical world ... and then looking at this trailer with it's over-bloated CG-fest exploding out of every offrice, and I turn away. Perhaps this would be something I would devour a few years ago, caught up in Snyder's "Justice League" and it's ilk... but perhaps changed when James Gunn's "The Suicide Squad" and even TV's "Peacemaker" grounded everything a little bit more than we realize, IMHO. But that's just me...
