Would Sanrio's Hello Kitty garner 'street-cred' with this pop-(sub)-culture cross-over collabo with BALZAC? Does it matter? The kawai-kitty dons a SHOCKER-outfit with matching skull-red-ribbon and bullhorn, for some Atom-Aged Vampire'd Horrorwood-ness, courtesy of Medicom Toy - and tis one of the more interesting mash-ups I've seen in a bit = *I LiiiiKE*
Scheduled for a April 2009 release - the 14cm tall (5.5 inches) BALZAC HELLO KITTY VCD (Vinyl Collectible Doll) has a SRP of ¥6,090 (US$64 / SGD$98). The Balzac Hello Kitty-design was first seen on a tee shirt (which effin' rawks too btw / pic via). Now all we need is a Balzac'd-version of a Hello Kitty-music track to sweeten the commotion ... heh.
