peep this new toy designed by artist Jeremi Rimel (creator of Autopsy Baby dolls) called Think-UP, for emerging vinyl art toy company: Miscreation Toys.

Think-UP is a 9" blank DIY (*do-it-yourself*) vinyl bust that comes in 2 different base styles, Standard and Creature base, and was recently on display @ DKE Toys' booth @ the San Diego Comic-Con - and is scheduled for a September-drop (quantity and price undetermined)

i had a chat with Think-UP-creator, Jeremi Rimel and this is what he had to share: CLICK HERE TO READ

TOYSREVIL: how did the design concept of Think-UP come about?

JEREMI RIMEL: I had an idea to create an art toy that would serve as a base or starting point to a bust sculpture art project. The design of the toy is derived from classic museum style bust sculptures.

TRE: what is the concept of Think-UP's dual-bodies? and what does the name actually mean?

JR: Think-UP is available in two different bases, standard and creature. The creature base is just an unusual alternative to the standard base. The name "Think-UP" explains exactly what it is intended for, here is this blank vinyl canvas, now what ideas can you incorporate into it?

TRE: did you originally envision the figure to be a DIY-Blank? if yes, why?

JR: I did, I think many of the blank toys out there can be a little limiting as far as what you can do with the shape. Who wants to customize another cartoon character based toy? I wanted to customize a toy that had a smooth skeletal shape that features could be added if needed, so whatever people do with Think-UP would be more signature to their own style.

TRE: what are your future plans for Think-UP? (ie: colorways, alternative base sculpts etc) and Miscreation Toys?

JR: The first run of Think-UP will come in white but expect to see gray and glow in the dark versions as well. I have had ideas for new colorways, bases, and accessories but that is something that the success of the toy would have to determine. Miscreation Toys encourages creativity, expect to see some strange and obscure art toys in the future.

TOYSREVIL: cheers for your time, Jeremi! in closing, maybe you could share with readers, Who Is JEREMI RIMEL?

Jeremi Rimel (Miscreation) is an artist best known for his horror doll-works, creating a line of custom vinyl dolls called "Autopsy Babies" which are gory, twisted, zombified baby dolls that appear to have been mutilated, dissected, then put back together comparable to Frankenstein. The dolls can be offensive to some but are so over the top that they can come across kind of humorous to others. Autopsy Babies gives more insight on why toys are evil.
