Life-sized Gundam at Odaiba, Again? (Spring 2012 Launch)


The life-size GUNDAM has returned to Odaiba, and construction has begun. Back in 2009, the 59-footer 1/1-scale Gundam behemoth created quite a stir across the globe for folks and fans, and put smiles on Gundam-geeks worldwide (I know I did), and now, scheduled for Spring 2012 launch is yet another Gundam! But viewable until March 2013, it seems … nevertheless, the memory continues for folks visiting Odaiba in Japan! Darwinfish105 continues to astound with his timelapse-videos and covers the 'making-of" on his blog (below images via).

Coincidentally, I remember only just seeing a tv-ad for The Transformers: The Ride launching at Universal Studios in Sentosa, and cooperatively, I am so not impressed compared to this ~ LOL
