#playingwith SHOCKERCAT from CAT MASK

A quick-look at a SHOCKERCAT resin figure, created, casted and hand-painted by Thailand-based resin-slinger known as “CATMASK” (Instagram @catmask_meaw / Online Shop), with this GID/Glow-in-the-Dark figure a release from around 2015.

I had always admired his chosen sculpted forms and clean-cut designs, appropriating pop culture iconology - including Star Wars-characters - and even invited him to create a figure to celebrate the TOYSREVIL Blog’s 10th Anniversary too!

CATMASK has been delving into more (Thai) distinct character (parody) sculpts in recent years, and have been keeping a very “low-key” (at least on my social media feeds :p), but has since begun “returning” to his “Cat Mask” concepts, which has been evolving since the last, IMHO. I miss seeing your work, buddy!
