> browned by time
fields of grass once green now browned by nature’s whim
a sullen silent reflection of our times our woes our growth
as sure as nature’s colour palette changes so too does
the human coil winding twisting unto shapes so divine
they resonate beauty and contort so perversely we can
barely look at it’s mishapened form and yet we do still
as surely as nature changes we mortals too are not spared
the ravages of time and mortality and tho the green seems
healthy and fresh so too shall brown be calm and matured
grass once green now browned by nature's whim
fret not for being green will not always be
embrace the browning as nature wills it
