Zarjaz! = an exhibition celebrating characters from 2000AD (the British weekly comic) ~ featuring artists like: Bounty Hunter, James Jarvis, Pete Fowler, Will Sweeney (click on "illustrations"), TADO and even the Lego Design team (ooooohh ~ this'll be interesting), among others (anyone has the complete list of participants pls? can't seem to find it :p)

*drool*

would you believe me if i said that i used to be a steady-fan/reader/supporter of 2000AD? when i was but a slip-of-a-teenager struggling with adolescence and when for a period of time i was only able to afford 2000AD and they came out weekly! so my comics-fix was satisfied near instantaneously! but the reality was, the corner newstands had only a limited amount of stock then and if it was sold out? i'd be hard pressed to be able to find back issues ... which really sucked, ya know? *like a dude wif gaps in the memory being able to fill them in* ... oh sure you could try and figure out what had happened the previous coupla issues, but you'd never really knew for sure, would you?

yes, i was am quite mad, i am. *heh*

anyways, will be looking out for further info on the Zarjaz exhibition and hopefully will be able to "share more pictures" here?

til then, permit me to share with y'all me favs and relive the memory that is/was 2000AD:

- The ABC Warriors!!!
- Simon Bisley ~ my fav artist of ABC Warriors.
- Nemesis The Warlock
- Glen Fabry ~ artist of Slaine, The Horned God

tho somehow i'd liketa erase this from my memories ...

... but then again, it does count as one of the earlier comics-to-screen movies, innit? = aiyah, it'z all good lah! hahahaha :p
