in the mood for retro
:: RETRO / STUFF ::
classic / modern / b-movie-trailers GALORE to be found within the Classic Trailers website, whereby tis a fount of archived-trailers for your personal retro-reviving-viewing pleasure! [via WMMNA]
and of coz one of my fav categories is Superheroes! - which features the live-action Flash Gordon movie, the Captain America movie (the motorbike-helmet! *URGH*), the Flash teevee-series and even a teevee promo-clip for 1966's Batman!
it'll a while before i can finish watching ALLA the clips tho ... but what a ride it'll be, innit? *heh*
and speaking of Batman, found this fabulously-retro website: Batfriend dedicated to the 60's caped crusader andhis the boy wonder! [via World Of Kane] - with sounds, images and much more from the dynamic duo of Adam West / Burt Ward's era.
and from the psykitsch-sounds of the 60's, we venture into the velvety-world of Jazz, with this excellent selection of Blue Note Albums Cover Art [via WMMNA] - i'm just a suckah for image-archives lah :p
and then i had a sudden urge for a breeze of retro-gogo-kitsch-meisters; Pizzicato Five!
and tis a gawddarnedtragedy that they've disbanded, IMHO ... altho we'd still have their albums / music and videos ... here's some of what i could find so far:
Twiggy
It's A Beautiful Day
Playboy Playgirl
On The Sunny Side of the Street
Gatsu Nichi
*heh*
