world outside my window part ten

braced myself for a day of retribution, of earth's damnation, of ragnarok, of piercing screams and wailing cries of agony and tragedy of a billion strangers, the end of days ~ and all we got was ... rain.

and so the day of the damned; the dreaded number of the beast 666 ~ came and left with but a hushed-whisper and all i got out of it was an extremely wet tho cooling morning (great for sleeping in laterz), a chance to watch Pirates Of The Carribean on DVD with me Dad, while eating a laksa lunch and finally to be a new owner of a spanking new el-cheapo-DVD-player later in the evening. and yep, that's about it. so much for fire and brimstone, innit?

*knock wood* :p

  1. 6.6.06 -- This is fun, but in a make-fun-of-the-superstitious-people kind of way. Of course, there's no such thing as gods, demons, angels, ghosts, et cetera.

  2. folks believe what they want to believe in, even if sometimes they don't ... imagine if everyone's looked at it the wrong way? upside down? mayhap the number of the beast is 999? well, we'll know in three years' time, innit? *heh*

  3. Ghosts do exists. You got to see one to believe. I used to deny their existence too. :P
