it's not just that they're (production company) near 5-months late in their payment for my "services", they've also (still) mis-credited me as "set designer" instead of "art director" - in the end credits, even after i've made an "un-official complaint" ... *twats*
other than that, tis a decent no-frills compilation of my first-ever mandarin "idol-drama", pixelated via vcd-technology (a pity really) and wrapped in a sweet blue box with a ribbon (*errrm*). viewable within a single day (if not night) and light on the eyes and brains, teenage-fluff disguised as angst ... andmanly tears were shed t'was quite moving in some bits (especially the end) ~ which i reckon tis quite a feat for an "idol-drama", innit? and on hindsight, i'd reckon t'was also quite a feat for "non-professional" actors to pull this series off (not saying it takes a whole lot to, in the first place innit?) and sometimes even perform better than "actual actors", IMHO. and also that i managed to pull it off by myself (*scary*)
in the end, tis a bargain @ SGD$19.90 (5 discs), at your nearest neighbourhood vcd-shops. (dunno how much it is @ HMV tho) - considering there are now three mandarin recording artists now (Kelvin / Kelly / JunYang) in what i reckon is a purely singaporean teenage idol drama, innit? *heh*
