of comic book covers

from vintage to current, from the golden-age to the cyber-age, Cover Browser "showcases over 5000 comic book covers" [link+info via Drawn!] = from alternative and indie-comics to the big two, seems they've expanded quite a few (ongoing expansion, it states) since last night/this morning when i was prepping this post = *schweet*

currently they are listed in no particular order (neither genre nor alphabetical) - which sorta makes it an "interesting exercise" by having to scan thru every title and link ... *heh*

a warm+fuzzy feeling of nostalgia (or wuz that the haze?) sweeps over me with instant visual recollections of familiar covers, from Bill Sienkiewicz's New Mutant-covers (always lurved them) to Daniel Clowe's Eightball (my alternative wakeup-call outside of superhero-comics) ... there are tons more covers from artists i'd liketa see, but im waiting for Adam Hugh's girls and Josh Middleton's and once Dave McKean's Sandman and James Jean's Fables makes the list? it'll be pretty darn near perfect cool, IMHO :)

maybe they should consider Nextwave-covers too eh? since they're gonna be ending by issue#12 (*sincere-sob*)
