the men of UNKL, Derek Welch and Jason Bacon, have been asked to wax philosophic about the wide world of design and vinyl toys at an upcoming Core77 Offsite event. the guys will chat about the cast of UNKL characters, the world of vinyl toys and about their design firm, Big-Giant.
(thankgawd there's a planned online simulcast, for folks like me on the other side of the globe :p)
hosted by Portland's own design gurus, Katsu Tanaka and Michael DiTullo, the event will be capped off with an open bar @ Someday Lounge = but you'll have to/must RSVP for both the presentation and bar HERE :)
and if you're vinyl-lurvin' fingers itch after the presentation? UNKL products will be available @ Just Be/Compund, a coupla doors down from Someday Lounge [via] *heh*
