of sideshowtoys' 1/6 sandtroopers and the heart of an empire
SideShowToys announces their first Star Wars 30th Anniversary
Exclusive with Medicom Toy's RAH 1/6 Sandtrooper:
limited to 1000-pcs in the US (unknown number for international sales tho), this desert terrain stormtrooper is available for priority pre-order on March 29th for Attendees of the upcoming Star Wars Celebration IV convention (non-attendees order on March 30th instead)
altho, i've always "wondered": what is the true allure of a SW Imperial Stormtrooper? the simple but sleek crisp white armor? the enigmatic googles that peer out from the helmet? or the pure cool visual when they gather en-masse? for sure i've had my fair share of blog-entries and a pile of waylaid/yet-to-start 1/6th-stormtrooper custom-figures (*sigh*) ... which is of coz "nothing" compared to the "fan-devotion" of the 501st Legion [wiki] - which so happens to have a documentary-film coming up about them, titled: Heart Of An Empire [view QT-trailer here]
[you-tubed] *cool*
