witchblade anime
from an American comic to a tv-series (sample), to a manga and a 24-episode Japanimation, the Witchblade is a prime example of a (what-i-call) "concept property" that has traveled the media (with the exception of being turned into a broadway musical, innit?), a cross-cultural "product", indeed, IMO :)
i was reminded of it's existence with the "debut" of the anime in the US on CBR [screengrabs via], and of coz my subsequent youtube-exploration, which yielded these interesting clips, which were an intriguing mix of japanese-cutesy and borderline hentai = *gawd i wanna watch the series now LOL*
