the name alone totally warranted a singular blog-post for these figures!"Ten years ago, DESTRO briefly replaced his bad-to-the-bone suit with a very flamboyant outfit: dark and deadly DESTRO was now dressed in leopard skin. The unusual deco was given the go ahead for production, and a few hundred of these garish guys made it into the world before Hasbro honchos decided the deco was too over-the-top. The colors were toned down, and DESTRO was back to his usual black-clad badness ... (and) those leopard-skin figures are almost impossible to find..."
2 versions (Gold and Silver Head) will be made available this SDCC, which are also released in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of G.I. JOE A REAL AMERICAN HERO = daymn, tis the epitome of 80's pimp-cool *LOL*
hell i don't collect any Joes less than 12"-ers, but i might just make an except (or two) if i can get my hands on these two, yeh? *bwahahaha*
