Project: Bart Simpson X TaiWan Star [via] features blank DIY-Bart Qees as customized by various Taiwan popstars including: FIR, Energy, Makiyo, MC Hotdog, Chang Chen Yue and even Singapore's A-Do and J.J.Lin (Lin Chun Chieh)! starting at NY$1 each, the Bart Qees are up for auction from now til November 30th, to raise funds for school children's education funds - and you can view and bid-on the customs HERE, including many artists caught on video-clips talking about or showing off their customs (the results vary but the intent is commendable, IMHO :p)
on the US-front, Qeetastrophy sees two 16"-er DIY GID Qees traveling/touring the country: The Bunee Qee is to be signed by some of the biggest (music) bands on this year's Van's Warped Tour, while the Bear Qee is to be signed by horror film legends (including several newcomers) - when completed, each piece are to be auctioned off (via Ebay) with all proceeds going to St. Jude's Pediatric Research Hospital [peep more details on DreadCentral.com and the project's dedicated myspace @ www.myspace.com/payback360]
