understanding singlish 101: vomit blood
in *Singlish (*Singaporean-mangled-English ;p) the term "VOMIT BLOOD" (Hokkien: "tor hui" / Chinese: 吐血) does not mean to literally puke blood from your mouth (caused by any form of physical illness) - but is an expression of frustration or extreme aggravation, of either a difficulty in completing task, or when someone refuses to acknowledge or understand what you have been trying to state, for which you can hardly retort back or choose to give up trying ... examples:
"that idiot of a client refuses to listen or understand, talk to him can vomit blood ah!"
or
"i have been trying to post pictures on my blogger for the past 2 hours and it still won't let me, make me vomit blood ah!"
(note: the "ah" at the end is for added emphasis) so now you know. *bleh*
