the prometheus and armored figure 1/6-bodies from sideshow (x hot toys)
in my earlier, more active 1/6th-collecting days, i had been known to be a collector of "nudes" - and by that, i meant 1/6-nude figures (hey, they're great for kitbashing, yo! :p) and tho i may not be a hardcore-connoisseur of body-forms, i do appreciate the many varied shapes and sizes of most figures, and am admittedly less critical sometimes about articulation - hell, even Mattel's Ken nudes are pretty neat and have their own purposes (hey, when even Michael Lau uses them, it works dunnit? :p) - becoz primarily i welcome the opportunity of varying body proportions (we can't just all 6-packed muscle-bound dudes saundering around, innit?) which personally for me, makes an interesting visual dynamic when i build "teams" or groups of characters, IMHO :)and anytime anyone produces a new body-form, i am always intrigued, and along comes Sideshow Collectibles' new Armored Figure and the Prometheus body! - with the latter being a collaboration with Hot Toys! (which happens to have one of my current fav body-forms):

am liking the Armored-bod quite a bit, primarily becoz tis a skinny fellow! and average Sideshow-figures are actually taller than most 1/6th by a bit, this lanky dude could be bashed for a "cool-punk-dude"-ish vibe ... whereas Prometheus looks like a decent bridge between, say - BBI's G1 and G3 figures? IMHO of coz ... now i just need to know if they will ever be released as single nudes, rather complete with figures ... sorry folks, some habits never die ... heh.
