And while researching for Ashley Wood's LADY SHAM from the Popbot Universe [blogged] I'd stumbled upon a 1:1-scaled POPBOT on producer / creative ditrector Pete Ford's Unstable Marzipan [all pics via] - who blogs about Resolution Independent's development of the Popbot-Movie :)


As part of RI's marketing plans, a 8'5" tall 1:1 scale POPBOT was created (made by Wicked Of Oz) to use in hero photography and to generate PR for the project. Pete also blogs that it had another purpose - find out what that is here and peep a behind-the-scenes slideshow of building the 1:1 Popbot here (which I can't seem to find the embed-code for, oh wells).

And yes, this was the post about casting for the role of Lady Sham :)
