3a toys update (nov/dec): brambles, blancs, tks and 3a-associates
3A TOYS' website has just been updated with new info regarding Bramble, Blanc De Plume, Tomorrow Kings and 3A Associates! We start with the announcement of the EURO DEFENSE BRAMBLE (previously known as "Euro Div") being the next MK2 Bramble figure colorway to be released in the new year, following the Sold Out Deep Powder Bramble Edition. Frankly, in this economic climate, that is a pretty darn mean feat!
BLANC DE PLUME [tagged] is to be a give-away during December. Ashley Wood's previously blogged text makes clearer "sense" now: Nom know's who has been naughty, and who has been nice!... Blanc de Plume, so exclusive even Bambaland wont be selling it!" = which means it'll be out of the hands from flippers perhaps? ... Some lucky folks are gonna be having an uber-sweet Christmas to come, yeh? And precisely 75 lucky folks too, because that's the amount of Blancs to be released!(*keeping-fingers-crossed*)
Pre-order for TOMORROW KINGS [tagged] will happen the last week of November. Bambablog provides some further details with a SRP of US$120 (shipped via EMS) and the mention of "TK comes with a large ass severed robot head." - which had been speculated in earlier posts, and with (possibly) a posted Ash-painting (image shown above-right has been brightened from original).
FYI: As mentioned in a previous post - there will be 5 Variations of the 1/6-scaled TK-figure (includes shirt, hair color, facial details etc), and will come blind boxed.
A December 24th date has been listed for the 3A ASSOCIATES program [tagged]. What a way to start Christmas, innit? FYI: As blogged previously - Membership will be limited to only 100 Members, who will receive figures (from a new line), t-shirt, store discounts etc (Pending further details). This opportunity (along with the speculation of it's membership-price) has been highly anticipated by Ashley and 3A Toys' fans, I reckon. Til the next update, I leave you with a WIP-painting by Ash, featuring a line-up of LARGE MARTIN, BERTIE The PIPEBOT and MK2 BRAMBLE = oh what a diorama this trio of toys would make! ;)
