Kuso Designer Toys LLC drops sweet WIP prototype-pix of their second Itokin Park project (after the vinyl hedgehog Iti Pinhead) featuring ROBBY THE SPACE FIREMAN! (Do note that the above image is a quickie-photoshop color drop-in on the proto-sculpt - based on the colorway posted below of the actual figure and is in no way an accurate depiction of the final figure, yo! heh).


And while he may not look the traditional fire-fighter we humanoids are accustomed to (not least the non-traditional firemen colors) - the futuristic water-raygun in his hands - which no doubt is primed to pump out via piped attachment to his backpack-doohickey - a firefighting liquidized-spray to quell & conquer all forms of space-fires beyond our feeble comprehension (aka I have no idea what they are supposed to be, but they be cool :p). And if the visor could slide-down, that would be an ultimate cool too, IMHO :p


Robby The Space Fireman features a distinct Itokin-Park-design style seen in his works (predominately the facial design) - and stands 7 inches tall with a planned initial edition run of only 84 pcs (*le-gasp*). The final vinyl figure will come packed in a tagged clear bag. *Stay tuned for further developments on TRE!*


FYI: Robby The Space Fireman is the fourth vinyl project from Kuso Designer Toys - after Mai Hiro's Ninja Spiki, Rotobox's Ganmetall Celsius and Itokin Park's Iti Pinhead. And while nothing has been "officially" announced as yet - do look out for Kuso to debut their toy-goodies at the New York Comic Con in 2009 :)
