Wonder Woman 1/6 scale Deluxe Collector Figure by DC Direct
DC Direct solicits"the figure Wonder Woman fans and 1:6 scale collectors alike have been waiting for" ~ the WONDER WOMAN 1:6 SCALE Deluxe Collector Figure!

Scheduled for a Septemper 16th 2009-release, Wonder Woman features 28 points of articulation, the figure is packaged in a deluxe 4-color window box with a fifth panel and includes a display base. SRP is US$99.99
"This classic interpretation of Amazonian Princess Diana Prince is dressed in her classic-style, intricate and authentically detailed costume, including silver- and gold-toned, metal-plated bracelets and tiara, as well as her Lasso of Truth."
Altho not that I've stared hard at the images (*cough*) but seems Diana's bustier seems a tad "ill-fitting" ... tis either the angle of the shot taken, or them's air in-between pockets of spaces, innit? Altho as much as I've always whined on about DC Deluxe figures being 13-inches, compared to "regular 1/6th-scaled" 12-inch action figures, somehow a tall Amazonian warrior princess towering over the rest of the guys seems quite an interesting visual dynamic, doncha think?
Now all she needs is her Amazonian battle armor and weapons to seal the deal!

ReplyDeletePlease somebody tell me this is a joke, I just can't believe DC is realeasing this version of WW, she looks like an ugly transvestite, what is with the sculpted hair, how come they can't give her rooted hair which looks a lot better, and what about that rectangular body? she looks like one of those ladies from the WWF wrestling thing on steroids; no hips, no waste line, and her legs are so skinny that make me pity her. I really hope this is just a prototype to see the reaction of the fans and hopefully they will change this figure 'cause honestly it just doesn't make her any justice.
