Tchoki Tchoki by pew36

TCHOKI TCHOKI are a limited edition run of plastic toys based on an animated character created and designed by Adam Comiskey of Southampton-based animation studio pew36. Two colorways have been produced: MILKY and CHOCO - with 1000 pcs of each made. Standing nearly 8cm tall (3 inches) each toy comes in its own box sealed with a choking hazard sticker. Each arm and ear can be posed. Tchoki Tchoki is currently available online via eBay @ £5.99 per (excluding S/H).

TOYSREVIL: How did the concept of the character came about?

ADAM COMISKEY: pew36 is an animation studio on the south coast of England. The character was designed as response to several things ... I wanted to design a fun character for teaching animation principles and as the design developed I decided it would make an awesome toy.

TOYSREVIL: A bunch screaming rabbits are always fun! LOL ~ So which came first? The toy or the animation?

ADAM COMISKEY: The animation came first, we have a whole bunch of animation starring these little critters and they fight alot.

TOYSREVIL: Best of luck for the animation (do let us know when tis up and running, yeh?). And in closing ~ what does the word Tchoki-Tchoki actually mean?

ADAM COMISKEY: tchoki tchoki! is the pretend Chinese name for the English name which is Choking Hazard ... also, the little rabbits say tchoki tchoki! when they are killing each other.

TOYSREVIL: So are you guys planning to give the rabbits baseball bats or any such mayhem-making killing weapons in the next series? LOL

ADAM COMISKEY: Yes, bats, knives, chains, fruit, stationary and gardening tools are all designed and ready to manufacture once these have sold out.
