WHO-IS: More than being a very beautiful and sexy pin up, Cixi is also the heroin of a successful comics, Cixi de Troy, by the famous French artists Olivier Vatine and Christophe Arleston. More than 80 000 copies of the first volume have already been sold in France.

This hot-tempered heroine is a minx agitator in the universe of Troy. All men, including the heroic Lanfeust and his ennemies, are wrapped around her little finger, but, even if she’s rebellious against decency, she’s also acting as a night righter of wrongs, in a fantasy world full of pirat women.

The French language long running comic series Lanfeust of Troy (Soleil Productions) has spawned one sequel and several spin-offs and prequels, such as the Cixi of Troy series. This series fits primarily within the high fantasy genre but is clearly meant for older audience.
