JUSTIN-SAID: "Some people wonder why it takes Dynomight NYC so long to fill your Cthulhu Juice Crew orders. 2-3 weeks?! That seems a bit redonkulous doesn't it? Well in actuality it really doesn't. Here are the steps needed to make just one Cthulhu Juice Crew Member. These are all completely hand done! Times that by 25 orders and you can see why things get a bit overwhelming. Lots of work needs to be done! But there is no complaining on this end. We enjoy making these to add to your collections! :)"

STEP 1: The Excess Junk

The Sucklord supplied us with the raw pieces straight from his hidden manufacturing plant in Chinatown. We have to take an X-acto to each piece and clean up the excess waste.

(Below-left) Strap on the mini-vice and get crackin'! Holes need to be drilled into each body piece so the arms and wings can be placed and glued. The head also needs to have a hole drilled into it. The Dremel is your best friend!

(Below-left) STEP 2: Strap It In

(Above-right) STEP 3: Buff that s#@t!

Some of the body pegs are too long to have the head placed on. They will need to be sawed and sanded down. This also applies to the wings and arm pegs. In this stage lots of beautiful resin snow flies around the apartment and gets on everything. There is sudden realization that the hand vacuum purchase was one of my wisest decisions that I have ever made.

STEP 4: Prep It!

This stage is where the primer and paint application takes place. Strap on that ventilation mask and start spraying. Be sure to remember to open a window and turn on a fan! Your brain cells and lungs will thank you for it.

STEP 5: Hang dry for the next 2 hours.

STEP 6: Tag it!

Bust out the permanent ink. There is some detailing that needs to be done!

The hand detail is a bit tedious, but I really enjoy doing this part! My eyes on the other hand are starting to not like me so much. I hope they don't threaten to go on strike?! They just need to hold out for just a little bit longer. There are only 2 more CJC members remain to be made!

STEP 7: Finish HIM!

Put on the gloves and super glue the arms, head, hat and wings in! This is followed with Crystal Clear spray finish. Place the piece on the fan and let the finished piece dry overnight.

STEP 8: Consume!
This is where you buy our stuff and we love you for supporting independent toy artists!

Thanks for the support, everyone! :D

The End.
